| Few bands have polarized the rock music business quite like Queen. While some critics rejected the quartet as over the top bombast rockers, fans loved their clever arrangements, guitarist Brian May's metal extravaganzas, but particularly the sexy ways and unique voice of energetically charismatic singer Freddie Mercury, Queen's front man for 21 years. Thankfully, zero varnish has been added to the raw sound on these live recordings from 1985, making this drumfire of hits charmingly rough around the edges. Queen's red-hot monster light show is awe-inspiring as ever, even some twenty years later.
