At a low-life club, a disinterested stripper slowly struts her stuff. An array of tired, ill and distinctly undesirable salesmen watch her, while Pete, the stripper's DJ boyfriend, plays the music. By the end of the evening, Pete has found a new job; apprentice to Tommy Rag, an overweight and overwrought vacuum cleaner salesman.
Living on whisky and Puffa-Puffa rice from the glove compartment, inspired by motivation tapes of Tommy's own voice shouting 'Sell, Sell, F**kin Sell', the maniacal mentor and his trainee hit the road. As Pete grows desperate to make a sale, Tommy single-mindedly pursues the Golden Vac - the holy grail of vacuum salesmanship...
