| The monster waves off Hawaii provide the most extreme surfing challenge. Many can dream but relatively few have the combination of physical and mental skills to take them on. Daniel Kereopa, a 23-year-old Maori from New Zealand, has enjoyed several years on the professional surfing circuit and was the 1999 Indigenous World Champion. We follow Daniel's intensive preparations in New Zealand, with all the trials and tribulations involved in the big build-up.
