The premier mixed martial arts event in the world returns to the MGM Grand in fabulous Las Vegas for UFC 36: Worlds Collide.
Two belts are on the line. First, welterweight champion Matt Hughes defends his belt against Japanese legend Hayato 'Mach' Sakurai. Then, in the main event, heavyweight champion Randy Couture defends his title against the 'Baby Faced Assassin' Josh Barnett.
The undercard features a combination of UFC veterans and stars of tomorrow. In the heavyweight division, Brazil's Pedro Rizzo battles Belarus native Andrei Arlovski.
Olympic silver medalist Matt Lindland battles former welterweight champion Pat Miletich to determine number one contender for Murilo Bustamante's middleweight title. In the light heavyweight division, Evan Tanner takes on Australia's Elvis Sinosic. The heavyweights round out the card when up and comer Frank Mir locks it up with seasoned veteran Pete Williams.
