Renowned street thug Jiro Yanagawa is released from prison in Shimonoseki in Japan's Kyushu region. Bailed out before his Partner in crime, Koichiro Tachikawa. Yanagawa enters the Notorious Yoshimzu Yakuza Family, only to bust out and return to Osaka to launch his bloody territory war with his own newly-formed clan against the Devils Dragons. "If you want to rise to power, you have to steal from the rich!" became his mantra. There is no one in Japan unfamiliar with this bloody true story.

Notorious for his killer instinct, Jiro Yanagawa fights to the death. One year following the infamous "The 8 Yanagawa's vs Devil Dragon 100" on Japan's west side, is the scene for this follow-up battle of revenge (1959). Action-filled fight scenes bust the seams of this feature, including deal sealed by Tachikawa biting off his own pinky and shoving it in a shirt pocket as "collateral." Drugs, prostitution and bloody bouts of revenge dominate the screen as Yanagawa takes over the Devil Dragons and their western territory. Based on a true story, but not for the squeamish. |
