There will be certain moments that he will be forever remembered for: The 1997 FA Cup semi-final against Wimbledon when he pulled off an astonishing dummy before curving the ball into the goal; The Cup Winners' Cup Final the following year when he came off the bench to score the winner against Stuttgart; The audacious back-heeled goal against Norwich in 2002, which he touchingly dedicated to a terminally ill boy he had visited in hospital, and now this match will rank amongst those, in which he signed off in style.
